We get a lot of people who contact us and search our website for Leimberg Information Services, so we thought that we’d take the time to explain.
First, we are two completely different companies.
Leimberg Information Services, Inc. (“LISI”) is the home of nationally renowned estate planning legend, Stephan Leimberg. They have a subscription newsletter service (whom our President, Phil Kavesh, has been a subscriber for years!). The newsletters cover an array of topics, such as Estate Planning, Employee Benefits and Retirement Planning, Business Entities, Asset Protection Planning, Financial Planning and Charitable Planning thanks to the contributions of numerous distinguished authors and editors. Additionally, more recently, they have begun to offer educational webinars to estate planning professionals on a number of estate, tax, financial, and insurance planning topics.
This is typically where people get confused, because we do offer the same or similar programs with some of the same speakers. However, as mentioned before, we are a completely different company. To help answer some common questions that we receive from those that contact us, see below.
How do I know if it’s LISI or Ultimate Estate Planner?
We understand that the marketing can be confusing. The easiest way is to look at the bottom of any promotional materials and see which company sent the e-mail. Additionally, the website that you are on will also let you know which company. Another way to tell the difference is that LISI produces webinars while we at The Ultimate Estate Planner have teleconferences for our educational programs.
Last, but not least, if you’ve placed an order and you’re not sure if it’s through us or LISI, as of right now, payment for LISI is through PayPal, while Ultimate Estate Planner does offer PayPal as a means of processing payment.
